DEATHS
Oneita Swoboda
Oneita L. Swoboda, 87, died Friday at a Manor in Topeka.
She was born March 18, 1897 at Morganville, daughter of
George and Mary Roy Perreault.
Shea was a CCCHS graduate and had lived in Clay Center
for 50 years. In 1951 she went to Junction City and was
bookkeeper at the Junction Citu Municpal Hospital. She
moved to Topeka in 1979. She took nurses training at
Emporia State and had also taught in Clay County several
years.
The survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Parsons of
Wenham, Mass.; five sisters, Marie Weber and Della Weber
of Clifton, Emma Doud of Pauls Valley, Ok., Jeanetter
Cobble of Winfield and Marsciene Perreault of S. Dennis,
Ma.; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Preceding her were a son, Roy in 1983; three brothers and a
sister.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the
Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home, with the Rev. C.W. Bloom
officiating. Burial will be in Bloom Cmetery.
