Our Ancestors.....that elusive group of people that genealogists search for. Some with success, others not so lucky. One of the best ways to keep our ancestors remembered forever is in all the old photos of days gone by. What history they tell just by looking at them and what a shame when some go without an identity. Once upon a time these people all had lives and stories to tell. So maybe, just maybe through the technology of the Internet we can put some names to the faces. Having an assortment of unidentified photos, I thought why not put a page up on the Internet with the photos and just see if by chance anyone knows these people. I have emailed photos, sent photo copies, and sent people to a private family site for viewing. Still no luck, not even an "it might be". |
