Services for Anna M. Rigel, 82, Blue Rapids, were conducted
May 6 at 2 p.m. from the Perry Funeral Home, Blue Rapids,
with the Rev. Craig Rackliffe and the Rev. Paul Miller
officiating. She died May 3 at Community Memorial
Hospitalm Marysville, after a short illness. Delbert Kaptian sang "In the Garden" and The Old Rugged Cross". He was accompanied by pianist Mrs. Ralph Gallup. Casket bearers were Cletus Fotier, Everett Denton, Victor Stanley and Edwin Brychta. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Blue Rapids. Born June 26, 1897, on a farm in the Swede Creek area, Anna Sedivy wa the daughter of Louis and Mary Osner Sedivy. She married Emil E. Rigel of Barnes on June 22, 1922. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31. 1971. She is survived by her children, Sister Terese Rigel, Mrs. Charles (Erma) Nugent and Kenneth Rigel, all of Blue Rapids, and Mrs. Dorothy Clark, Salina; her twin sister, Mrs. Marie Musil, and Mrs. Frank Horalek, Blue Rapids; a brother, Adolph Sedivy, Leonardville, and 8 grandchildren. |
